Joseph Towers is the senior analyst for rail and intermodal at FTR, covering all different facets of the rail industry, including freight and equipment forecasting, current events and the regulatory environment.

Joseph comes from a background of railcar leasing and manufacturing, as well as time building tailored solutions as a rail industry consultant. With expertise in quantitative analysis and modeling, he always approaches problems with a philosophy of “data first”, while also keeping the complexities of the rail and intermodal industries at the front of his mind.

When Joseph isn’t working, you’ll likely find him spending time with his wife and daughter, woodworking in his garage, or volunteering for his local community.
